I am living in an apartment in New York that I have been living in for 16 years with my parents,my dad recently passed away and my mom is moving to Florida,the apartment was leased to my mother and has 2 years left on the lease,I am 30 years old and want to stay here do I have any legal rights to the apartment?

YES but ONLY if your parents has a rent stabilized, or rent controlled lease

If its in a private home....NO

But if you live in an apartment building with a RC or RS lease you have to follow the Law very very closely or you could still be evicted....so i need more detials.
