I recieved a loan for 500.00 and was required to write checks for the loan from a financial institution. The matter has now been turned over to a collection agency, and the collection agency is calling at my work place
continue to harrass me. What can thay do to me? What can Ido about it?

Ok, I'm not sure I understand that

You got a $500 loan. Where did you get the loan FROM ??

You had to repay that loan with checks - at least I assume that's what you mean. Why is that a problem ?

The ONLY reason for a collection agency to harrass you is because you haven't been paying on the loan. How long has it been since you paid on this loan ??

What can they do to you ?? Easy, they can sue you and get a judgment. Then they'll go after your bank account and any non-exempt assets you have to repay the loan. They can't garnish wages in TX.

What can you do about it ?? PAY THEM !

It just occurred to me .. was this a PAYDAY LOAN ????
