What is the name of your state? Georgia

Recently, one Sunday, I was eating brunch with a group from church at a hotel. A group of very well dressed individuals came in and I made the comment, "Wow! They just came from church!" A person sitting near me said that one of the individuals heard me and I didn't think anything of it thus I said "so" thinking it wasn't a derogatory comment. He turned around and said, "No! We just came from the parking deck!" Then he said "he was going to sue me." Can he sue me or was he just trying to be smart? I don't have a clue who he was. Am I just paranoid thinking he can sue me; I don't think that man had any grounds to sue me for assuming they came from church.

A little help please?

Thanks, that's a relief to know. I guess one person said it best, "keep your opinions to yourself, you never know when someone is going to pull out a gun and shoot you."

Side note - you two post alot, are you two in some sort of law professions?

Appreciate the advice,
