What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas
My question is in regards to Landlord/ Tenant dispute:
I live in a Houston apartment and have had previous complaints from the neighbor below regarding my dog urinating on my patio and it leaking on to hers. I've resolved the issue and my dog has no longer done this. I was on my patio watering my plant and water from my plant leaked on her patio. The neighbor assumed it was urine and complained. I received a notice to remove my dog in 24 hours. I refused because my dog did not urinate on her property. I even have proof that was provided to apartment management that the liquid on her patio was from my plant directly above her patio and there still trying to evict me because the neighbor thought it was urine.
Can the apartments do this?
