What is the name of your state? GA
I am 20 years old. I was given an Otherthanhonerable discharge from the marine corps for going u.a.
my question is, after getting my bachelors degree, will having that type of discharge prevent me from being able to get into med school? will that type of discharge prevent me from bing able to become a forensic pathologist in this country?
ANY help, advice would be greatly appreciated in this matter.
Thank you.

well, if you were intending on the military paying for your education, now that would be a problem

If you committed a crime that made you ineligible to be employed by a law enforcement agency and that also caused your discharge, now that could be a problem.

The mere fact that you went UA, although it may make you a less than desirable employee, does not necessarily ban you from being a forensic pathologist.

I am not aware of any banning to medical school because of military discharge status. But again it could make you a "less" desirable candidate.

 And it certainly wouldn't be DISCRIMINATION.

YOU put yourself in this position with your decisions. It's not an immutable characteristic to be OTH. It's just...other than honorable.
