I live in Florida. I have been in my apartment since 10-00. I have had made complaints that have not been resolved by the apartment complex. Do I have any legal protection that would allow me to get out of my lease without penalties? I pay $1175.00 p/month for a 2 bed/2 bath apartment. These are the complaints I have:

1. ** Chief Complaint ** When A/C is turned down as low as possible thermostat still reads 80-90 degress inside apartment. The A/C unit not big enough to cool the apartment. When complaints have been made they change the filter. Not sufficient.
Always hot in apartment.

2. Apartment is above the electric security gate. When gate is opened it makes loud beeping noise. Occurs all hours of the night.

3. When water runs in my apartment building, plumbing makes loud clicking noise.

4. Not enough parking in front of building.

5. By garbage dumpster. Trash is always built up and smells bad.

What rights do I have to get out of lease?
