What is the name of your state? GA

My tenant has been late on the rent three months in a row. Last month she was 20 days late and this month she is currently 12 days late. In addition, the tenant gave me a rent check and when I went to deposit it I was told that the tenant's bank account was closed. I recently found out that writing checks on a closed account was against the law, too.

I'm under the assumption that a tenant must be 30 days late in order to begin the eviction process in GA. Am I correct on that assumption? Do I have grounds to evict NOW?

Also, since she's putting me through hell, I'd like to take it a step further and have something legally done regarding the check. Any suggestions?

If you have never had to evict before, hire a local attorney that specializes in evictions.
