I am in Nebraska and I would like to know if I can get a copy of my dads will before he dies. I am asking because all the other kids have copys and know one will tell me about it. I would appreciate any information on if I can get it at the county court or if I can get itat all. Thank's

DEAR DART:

A person's will is private until the time of death. Unfortunately all you can do is wait until the person is deceased. Why won't your siblings give you a copy or at least let you see it? It doesn't necessarily mean you have been left out. It will not be filed at the courthouse until the death occurs. Stop worrying and relax, or ask your dad to provide you with a copy as well, or at least try to find out who his estate executor will be and who will be handling his affairs.
