What is the name of your state?United States

I am in the process of going thru a divorce :) We have signed a stipulation which states that I have 90 days to refinance two mortgage and give him the settle amont. I have been maintaining the two mortgages and bills for the last two years by myself. The bank is working with me and have informed me that I need to get my credit score up so I can get a better rate which I am doing. In the stipulation it state that if I do not meet the 90 day requirment that it can be extended by written agreement. If he refuses to do so, which I think he will, can I go back to court and have the Judge extent the agreement or will can they make me sell the house.

Do you intend to offer him any financial incentive for keeping his equity locked into a home only you are using? Remember, as long as a mortgage exists with his name still on it HIS credit score and borrowing ability is also impacted. How long do you need ? Upping a credit score is NOT a short term process.

He is entitled to money when I refininace. He has not put anything in in the last two years and has only been here for a year and a half before he left with all his bills paid off by the second mortgage we took out and I am paying.
