My husband gave his debit card information to a legal service over the phone (who turns out are not attorneys). After his card was charged they sent him a contract and ACH authorization via email that he needed to sign. After reviewing the contract we decided we did not want the services. He DID NOT sign the contract or the ACH authorization and requested a refund. They said they had already started working on his case and would not give a refund per their "all transactions are final" policy. Is there a way to get our money back? Should we dispute the charges with the bank?

Thanks

You're going to have to study the terms of service (contract) that your husband agreed to be bound by in order to determine your options.

Even if your bank does a chargeback they may still be entitled to the money and may send him to collections or sue him.
