I live in connecticut and I was previously married for 1 year it was the biggest mistake of my life! I married her because I was with her for so long but did not love her. I have found someone who I am truly in love with and we were marrried on March 9th by a justice of the peace. Is is still possible for me to get an annulment?

If you never divorce your first wife then the annulment will be to the 2nd marriage, which is invalid. Then you will need to get a divorce from wife #1 and hope you do not go to jail for bigamy.

Im sorry about that I should have mentioned that I was divorced from my first wife then remarried about a year and half later to my present wife. Is it still possible?

To get an annulment from your first wife to whom you have already divorced? What do you think?

If I had an idea I wouldn't have asked this question in the first place now would I?

My response:

If you are, in fact, divorced from your first wife, then the court has no further jurisdiction over that relationship because there's nothing left to "annul".
