Hello I am the victim of a domestic violence case. The judge issued a no contact order against the defendant. Recently the defendant has been contacting me and I have been answering his calls. Also I asked his sister if she request to be approved to be a visitor. She agreed. One of our options to visit him is a at home video visit. Once she was approved she gave me her account information to log in and schedule a visit. After scheduling a visit I was able to see him. My worry now is since the visits are recorded the DA will be able to tell that I am not the person who is on the account. Can I be charged for using someone else's identity/account? Will that be considered fraud?

Beats me.

At the very least it was bloody stupid.

The next time he beats the crap out of you, nobody's going to take you seriously.

Sorry, I'm supposed to be nice. But some people just defy common sense. SMH.
I agree with you entirely.

Victim? More like an enabler.

Well, the defendant can go to jail for violating the order. Whether you can be charged with any crime depends on what the nature of this visit/video thing is and what court orders might be in place. I'm a little confused about what that was about.
