My exboyfriend and I bought dirtbikes about 1 and 1/2 years ago. We broke up and decided to just be friends. We went riding one saturday together. His dirtbike was in the shop getting repaired and he asked to borrow mine again the next day while I was at work. I agreed. Now he won't give it back, he stole the title out of my filing cab. and he is in the process of selling my dirtbike. It is an "or" title so he has the power to do so. I have reciepts for everything that was purchased that had anything to do with the motorcycles: gear, maintenance equipment, all which is in his possession. I have taped messages from him stating that he is trying to sell MY motorcycle, threatening, and harrassing me. And stating that the only reason why he is doing this is because I am taking away his happiness by not spending my life with him so he is going to take away my happiness by taking my motorcycle. This is a $5000 2000 cr125, and the gear and equipment is worth $3000. He already has a 2000 cr250 which we purchased on the same day. I just want what belongs to me, my gear and my bike. Can I stop him from selling my motorcycle?
