Can i get out of this legal binding contract?

My husband and I have bought into this resort "trial " package. After this 1st year everything they told us when we signed up has all been untruths. Our contract when it was explained to us was supposed to be resalable. and it isnt. this offer was supposed to get us discounted trips. we can get them cheaper on our own. It was supposed to send out monthly flyers on special events within the resort. and special vacation packages. Now that i am questioning that this is a scam they are telling me that it is a legal binding contract that we signed and there is nothing that they can do about it. I stated to 3or 4 different people my concerns and still nothing. I would be happy to just loose what we have invested and call it even. This package is costing us money not saving us. Should i get a lawyer? i am not sure of my legal rights at this point. HELP
