I was pulled over for 87 in a 70 by highway patrol tonight. He issued me a ticke for speeding and am fined $125.00. just 2 weeks ago, same thing. as you can see, i will do anything to get this off my record without costing me a large fee for a lawyer and the ticket. Here's the question: he didn't have me sign anything or even ask me to sign anything on the ticket. he did sign it and went on his way. Since he forgot to have me sign it, saying I recognize his issuance of the ticket, can i try to get it dismissed for overlooking this signature flaw? or is it not a requirement by the officer to have me sign anything at all?

Traffic fines are cheap in your state. That would cost $450 and a possible wreckless driving ticket in my state. Your state does not require signatures on civil infractions that have fines of less than $250. Your signature was not required and it is optional for the officer to have the ticket signed. If you have no other defense pay the ticket(s) and slow down.
