Can I get relief from this debt?

I live in VA and want to end my marriage. My husband keeps getting us into too much credit card debt. If we file for separation or divorce and he is assigned part of the debt and doesn't pay his share, does it come back to me for responsibility?

Also, what about vehicles? They are co-titled now but can they be refinanced to only one person after separation and be the responsibility of the new owner only?
