How much can a cc company take to pay an old debt? I have no income and am injured.

What do you mean, 'how much can they take' ?? They can't take squat unless they sue you first and win a judgment against you. Wages can be garnished up to 25% of your net, but since you have no income, they can't do that. They can't take ANY exempt assets at all, so if you have few assets, then they likely can't take a thing.

Is the car financed ? If not, what is it worth, how old is it, what condition is it in, etc. ???
