What is the name of your state? OH

I currently work as a waiter at a small restaurant. I am paid under the table in cash, $7/hour.
I am 14 years old.
I have been working at this restaurant for about 15 months.

I want to apply to a grocery store to work this summer.
Can I list the waiter job as work experience?

I don't want to list something as work, then the store checks my record and finds no such waiter experience, and assumes I am falsely writing this.

Thank you!

PS- how bad is working under the table?
Anything I should know?

Of course you can list the waiter job as experience. The other company may wish to contact them to verify your employment there.

As for working under the table, legally, it is bad because you (or your parents, based on your age )are defrauding the government of taxes that you may owe, or course, it is probably good for your pocket right now for the same reason. In addition, you are not contributing to Social Security and are therefore not building credit, of course, this too is based on the idea that SS will be around for you to collect.
