I have case that will be going to court in a few months, I am sueing a couple, for $500.00, for money I let them borrow, They have hired an attorney claiming they never received any money from me, There were no contracts signed, or a verbal agreement made, just the understanding that they would repay me. I have a e-mail from them saying that they would try and give me some back, but it never stated what they were talking about, they never mentioned the money, just they would give me some back. They have also used differnet e-mails to contact me acting as if they were someone else, asking why I would sue them, but i had them trace dand found out they were coming from there pc. since they hired the attorney i received a letter stateing that they were countersueing for harrasement. I did hire a private investagater and that is what they are countersueing over. I also received a certified letter, but did not pick it up, they are wanting the information that i will be useing for my case, and also are wanting the private investaget report. I am representing myself,
my question is do I have to turn these items over to there attorney?
or can I refuse? If i do not accept the letter will they be sent by sherriff?
