I put my home on the market, so it was on sale by owner. I had a prospective buyer, ao it was sale pending, however i decided to remove my house from the market and don;t want to sell it anymore. the prospective buyer is threatening to suit me. Is that legal? Please help, thank you

If the buyer has made an offer to buy, and you've accepted the offer, and you have a written sales contract, then he can potentially head down to court and ask the court to force you to sell the house to him at the agreed-upon price.

If you don't have a signed sales contract, then you can take the house off of the market, even if you have a verbal agreement to sell.
