Is there any way to get a copy of my court transcript. I would like a friend of mine to go over this to help me with an appeal.

If your case was in a 'court of record' with a court reporter, you can get a copy of the transcript for any case, not just yours. [Not all courts have transcripts. For example, most Small Claims courts do not have formal records kept.]

All you have to do is pay the transcription fee. Contact the original court and they should be able to tell you who the court reporter was for that case. Then contact the reporter (most of them either work independently or for a separate company) and arrange for a transcript.
