What is the name of your state? CA

on the back of my ticket, it state that there is a type of trial that i don't have to appear in court. and that's the trial by written declaration. but it also stated that it's for traffic cases only

I was cited for 7145a, a fish and game violation. but i'm assigned to go to a traffic court (the offense is an infraction). after i plead not guilty i'll probably file for a trial by written declaration. but i'm not sure if that's allow.

My response:
