can I subpeona a security video? Police brutallity????

I was arrested in missouri for 2 charges of attempting to inflict bodily injury upon someone, they left that part blank. I never touched either person one being a police officer the other a hospital security guard. I tried to take the officers gun to commit suicide. I never touched the officer or the security gaurd, they on the other hand beat me pretty good and tasered me repeatedly after I was on the ground and restrained. can I request a copy of the hospitals security tape for that night?? and did they have the right to taser me 7-10 times after I was restrained on the floor? Or is this just one of those cases where that never happened, as seems to always be when the police take things to far???

You tried to take the cop's gun and are surprised you got thumped?!?! Good God! You're lucky you weren't SHOT!

Heck, no need to subpoena it, they'll probably present it as evidence!

But, yeah, your attorney can subpoena the tape.

Maybe you missed the part where I was trying to kill myself. At the time getting shot would have been a good thing.

Nope - didn't miss it. Just expressed my surprise that nothing more happened.

And, since you said "at the time", I can only assume that you have since realized that life isn't quite THAT bad.

If you tried to take my gun, you'd get thumped as well. So I don't know what you expect to accomplish with the tape ... unless you intend to sue them for thumping you after you are convicted?
