Hello

I had opened an account with a bank and they had promised me that if I set up direct depsits
every 30 days for 90 days, I would receive 100$ bonus. My first deposit came on the 32nd day of opening the account.

When I chatted with a customer agent, he told me that there was a 30 day grace period for making the opening
deposit. Hence,it was fine even if I was two days late. I have the saved chat sessions with me.

Now, after 5 months, I have not got the bonus. When I called up the representative, she tells me that
it was declined since it did not meet the 30 days timeline for making the first deposit.
I told her that I had conversed with two agents and about the 30 days grace period. She tells she is not aware of this grace period.

This has annoyed me. I don't know whether I can take any legal action for this.

The agent was wrong, your first deposit was too late. You didn't comply with the terms of the offer, so you don't get the bonus.
