What is the name of your state? pa

I recently requested a zoning change on my property in pa. I filled an aplication. I missed the zoning meeting which occurred 12-05. Today when I wake up I read this in the local newspaper. FH said H Realty recently purchased the property and requested the zoning change.

However, supervisors said they do not know what H Realty wishes to do with the property and are uncomfortable rezoning the area without knowing all the facts.

FH said D of H Realty recently met with the Zoning Hearing Board but refused to tell the board what H Realty plans to do with the property.

Supervisors said H Realty isn't obligated to say why the rezoning is being requested, but said supervisors aren't obligated to grant the request either.

FH said supervisors must protect the residents who live near the property and must have some idea of what H Realty plans to do with the property before making a decision.

Supervisors said H Realty will have an opportunity to meet with the zoning hearing board to discuss plans for the property. The zoning hearing board will report back to the supervisors before the next township meeting, which will be held at 4 p.m. Jan. 7.

Supervisors said they will make a decision regarding the matter at their next meeting.

THE FUNNY THING IS I NEVER WENT TO ANY ZONING MEETINGS AND I NEVER MET THE ZONING OFFIACIALS. I could't pick them out of a room of 4 people and 3 of them would be zoning officials. Can I sue for this. This will def impact my self and business in my area.

I assume you are D of the Realty company? Well, D, from what you have posted, you have no defamation action here worth pursuing. You cannot win a suit based on what MAY happen to your reputation in the future.

Good luck on January 7th.
