Can I Sue for the property and how

I had an oral agreement with a family member for the sale of her property.
Over a year of payments was made to her and now she is breaching her agreement.
I want to sue for the property. Can I ???
And can I file the lawsuit forms myself ,, if yes were do I find the information to do this ??

Hold on there. Oral agreements for the sale of real estate are not valid in most states. There are exceptions, but they are limited.

The previous post is correct, in most states the Statute of Frauds requires an agreement to sell property to be in writing. There can be exceptions, however, including installment contracts that are partly performed. In what state is the property located?
