What is the name of your state? Kentucky

Last year I recieved a letter stating that I needed to appear in court in regards to a child support issue. Immediatlly after receiving the letter I called the child support office and got the issue resolved. Sadly the courts were not notified of the resolution and in October of last year I was arrested for failure to appear. The judge had issued a bench warrent for my arrest which I spent six hours in jail untill the judge recended the warrent. Can I sue and if so who should I go after?

This is what happened with the child support issue.

There are two different amounts of money coming out of my check. One amount is supposed to go for the child support account and one for an account for medical. Both were actually going into the child support account. It turns out that this was the child support offices error and I was able to get it straightened out over the phone and was told that I would not have to appear in court because the issue was resolved, but the child support office did not notify the courts that the matter was resolved.
