Can I sue my neighbors for slander?

Well since I didn't get good results about suing the navy. How about the 3 neighbors that were interviewd by NCIS and made up stories to help the Navy build a case of allegations of soliciating sex to a minor? I red the case myself, and there are no evidence of the 3 neighbors to support their statement. Example, a 21 yr girl stated that he saw several times my husband "gaulking" at females while driving through our residential street. she supposely witness him playing with a minor's hair. One neighbor stated that there were tapes of the conversation between my husband and the minor. All the statements were not supportive. The navy could only reduce it down to him guilty of stating "are you messing with Chester"

I think so... Maybe because everyone have their own issues and they turn to websites like this to get "legal advice" and not put downs. See...I just don't want to waste my money and get ripped off from a lawyer saying "Yes you do have a case" and drain my money out. I applaud your honesty. In the past I've been a victim of a sexual harrassment case and it was settled. I'm just trying to put this in the past so I can move on with my life...I hurts to see that one of my neighbors kids are not allow to play with my kids unlike the past.

If you want to sue someone, sue your ignorant husband for getting all of this started.

Believe me I would of left him a long time ago for not being ignorant. Our defense lawyer told us that if the accuser leaks the case out, yes we do have a case. I guess this website if not helpful....More of a negative feedback than actually sticking to the question.

Then what are you doing here. Why don't you tell your attorney to sue?
