Can I sue uhall for this?

Hi I had a recently I went to U-Haul to get a tow hitch installed but they did the wiring wrong and now my lights don't work can I sue them for risking my life or it isn't worth it and how much will I get
Btw an independent mechanic already fixed and found the issue (uhall strapped the wire to the exaust, hottest place.)

You can't recover for what might have happened, only for what did. The most you're going to recover is what you had to pay the other mechanic to fix it (and even then you might not get if you didn't give u-haul the chance to make it right).

Take the receipt to the U-Haul place and ask for reimbursement.

Were you ticketed for driving without proper lights?
