MY X GIRFRIEND HAS OUR CAR AND THE VEHICLE IS UNDER BOTH OUR NAMES. SHE HAS KEPT THE CAR NOW FOR FOUR YEARS BUT SHE CONSISTENTLY MAKES LATE PAYMENTS ON THE VEHICLE WHICH IN TURN EFFECTS MY CREDIT. SHE WON'T ANSWER MY EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS AND ALL I WANT IS MY NAME TO BE OFF THE CAR. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS, CAN I SUE HER FOR MESSING UP MY CREDIT OR CAN I SUE HER IN ORDER TO GET MY NAME OFF THE VEHICLE? PLEASE HELP I NEED OPTIONS.

Turn off the damn caps key, you deaf or something. The answer to all your questions is no. Look up the definition of contractual obligations. You had the opportunity to mitigate any damage to your credit by making the payments yourself, if you didn't it is your fault your credit is in the crapper as much as your ex. Options? Pay off the loan then you don't have to worry about it.
