can my brother move with me?

What is the name of your state? new york im a 17 year old high school junior, will be 18 in oct. my brother (whos 15,almost 16) and i live with our uncle,whos our legal guardian, our mom is dead, our father no longer has rights to us. i plan to move to my own place over the summer before i start my senoir year, and my brother wants to move in with me and his 11 month old son( my nephew) can he move in with me without me getting into trouble?my brother and i both plan to finish school, niether of us drink smoke or use drugs, we dont stay out till all hours of the night.we were raised to know the difference between right and wrongs. when i turn 18,i get 500,000 from my mothers life insurence,my brother gets his share when he turns 18,so we would be set financially. i just dont want to get in trouble legally for taking my brother with me if he cant go.

If your uncle says no, then he can't.

And don't be a fool with that insurance proceeds check. Find a qualified financial advisor and get it INVESTED so:

A. you don't squander it and preserve the principal

and

b. It creates a reliable flow of income. Be sure to put a portion aside for college. What seems important to buy at age 18 can seem pretty silly a few years later.

yes we do plan to put some aside for college, and live on the rest. we talked to our uncle last night,and he agreed to let us move out this summer. he said he trusts us to make the right decisions. thanks for everything
