undefined  What is the name of your state?Kentucky but case is in Tennessee.
I am a mom of two kids, a 6yr old daughter and a 4yr old son. Their father has not been taking his visitation with them nor has he paid his child support as ordered to do so by the court. Their father takes different times to play "Daddy" but some times it could have been 5 or 6 months since he has ask to see them. Durring the divorce he even tried to prove me unfit and have the kids placed into a foster home in hopes of him not being liable for child support but was unable to do so. He tells the kids that I don't love them and that the only reason I do have custody is to be able to take his money. This is when he does take the time to talk to or see them. I have 25 Domestic Violence reports against him while we were married and he has attempted suicide several times before also. I have moved from Tennessee now to try to improve our lives with my new boyfriend of a year and in hopes to find a good job once I can get my son into school. We had recently went to court for a review of child support since they furlowed  (sorry not sure of spelling) my ex husband from the 6 month jail sentence for non-payment. While there he claimed his reasons for not paying but claimed I moved away so that he could not see his kids for court ordered visitations. The judge only frowned upon me because I never knew that I had to legally do anything so that I could move and told my ex-husband to file some sort of paper work so that he would get custody of my kids. I just need to know if there is anything I can do to keep this from happening. I made sure his family and him were all aware that we were moving even though he had not had any contact with us for atleast 5 or 6 months before our move. I just don't see how my ignorance on this one matter could legally hand him our kids in which he has not been part in their life until it was convenient for him and considering all other facts in this case.
