My response:
You can invite whomever you want. During the tenancy, that property is YOURS also, and while you're paying rent, can invite onto the land and into your premises whomever, and whenever, you choose. He has no right to dictate under the law, unless he can show that his former girlfriend is an actual threat or danger to the property. Now, that was one side of the coin - - here's the other side.
Are you prepared to move? He can, without recourse or reason, evict you with a 30 days notice. If this other person is worth this type of hastle for you, then go for it. If you want to think twice about losing your home, then you might want to tell her that you made a mistake, and that she must move.
