What is the name of your state? GA

Pregnant female is due in August. She is currently on State aid (Medicare). Will any insurance companies cover her if she switches? I've heard since she has a preexisting condition (pregnancy) this may not be possible. Any help? Who should I look into if she can?

If she is going to a group health insurance plan sponsored by her own or her husband's employer, they CANNOT consider pregnancy a pre-existing condition. However, I am not sure if the same applies to an individual policy. Contact your state insurance commission for more details on the laws of your state.
