My brother's wife filed for divorice two years ago. It is finally going to trial the end of this month. A couple weeks ago she said she would sign the house over to him and would send over papers. When he got the papers there was a list of if's a mile long. When he said he would not sign the paper, she said she will now file for separation instead.

Can she now file for separation? If she withdraws divorice petition can she now request that the trial be taken off calander?

If somebone files a lawsuit such as a divorce and wants to withdraw it, they always can, even in a trial. Certainly, in the eyes of a court they will lose credibility by refiling another lawsuit. Usually a separation is an agreement between both parties. She sounds like another nut without an attorney. Sounds to me like they already are separated but there is no agreement.
