This has to do with the recent prison escape of 3 Prisoners in Phoenix, 2 of whom are believed to have murdered a couple in the past few days. I'm wondering if the woman who helped them escape can be charged with and convicted or murder, if she had nothing to do with the killings. Let's say for the purpose of argument she was not in proximity of the alleged murders and that she had no prior knowledge that they were planning to kill someone. Is she or anyone else who helps break a felon out of prison legally responsible for any further crimes they commit such as murder? IE, the getaway driver of a bank robbery in which a guard was killed, can be charged and convicted of murder even if he had no weapons with him. Thanks for your answers.
