Can spouses get food stamps in two separate states?

I am living in Nv and separated from my, hopefully soon to be, husband. He is currently getting food stamps in Id and I am needing to be able to eat so need to get food stamps here in Nv. What I need to know is if I can do this due to us still being married.

If he is not claiming them for you in Idaho and you properly report it, they will decide based on their rules.
