What is the name of your state? Pheonix. Arizona

Hello, we were just informed that the landlord of the shopping center that we lease our restaurant is giving half of our patio to a new restaurant tenant that is planning on opening next door. We found out by noticing an orange spray painted line across our patio and asked the construction guys what it was all about.

This seems so outrageous that they would do this to a tenant and not even talk to us about it! Please tell me that I have some rights here, such as adverse possession. Thank you in advance.

**A: review your lease noting the demised patio area and respond back.
