What is the name of your state? West Virginia

This may sound stupid, but it irritates me to no end. During the holiday season, I have what some people would call an elaborate set-up for Halloween where people come from all over to view my decorations. Two newspapers have asked to do a story on this, to which I have said no (I don't decorate to be publicized, just as a stress-relief and for fun). Many people have taken pictures and video, which I don't mind, but I tell them I don't want to see it on the internet. I just heard that another newspaper is going to print a picture of my house and decorations. They did not ask. Is this legal? Don't they have to have my permission prior to printing a picture or article? Please advise. Thanks.
