What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?OHIO

I am very likely to get hit with a punitive damage from a dui/accident over 4 years ago. I have absolutely no assests. I know in Ohio they cannot go after my wifes wages, but what about any assests? About a year ago we sold our house for zero profit (due to a heavy second mortgage). My wife and I were seperated at that point (though not legally) and she bought a modest house with some of her 401k money she cashed in. She has been kind enough to let me live in her house till I can get back on my feet.

Someone has suggested that since my mailing address is at her house, they can put a lien on her house to collect on the judgemet against me.

Is this possible?

why can they take her house

You say they can't put a lien on her house, but then you say she is losing it.

Please explain
