north carolina,we were never sent a time to apear in court.can you be sued anyway. they just sent a paper to reply by mail. they wanted a reason why we did not pay a bill,never sent the paper.next thing you know they send a property excempt paper saying for us to list our property{household belongs}.WHAT DOES STATUTORY EXEMPTIONS MEAN.will they take my house or cars.the paper they sent was a civil summons.what does arbitration case mean. let me know as soon as posiable thank you. donna
