My mother is in fairly poor health and it's getting worse. We've tried to get her to see the doc for years now. I even recently told her I was going to call an ambulance on her and she said she'd send them away. I was woindering if someone is of sound mind, can we force them to get treatment? And if not (I hope this doesn't sound too cold, but I've been worried about it), if something were to happen to her, do we have to worry about being held responsible for her lack of treatment? If so, is there something we can do to protect ourselves against that should the worst happen?
