While checking airline prices on several different online services, my wife went to priceline.com and as a first time user unknowingly went through the process of pricing tickets but instead bought tickets for an inflated price. Priceline says the order cannot be canceled. Is there anything we can do to get this order canceled?

Dispute the credit card charge right away. I can't understand how she did that because there are always "outs" on the website.

Priceline will say she purchased the tickets but later changed her mind and now claims mistake.

Priceline have a crap load of webpages through the process that clearly state you are purchasing tickets and the only way they will not charge you is if they are unable to find the ticket at the price YOU ASKED FOR. You have to enter 'yes' or 'agree' and initial items so it is not a case of clicking your way through.

Because of this, I do not understand the 'inflated price' part since she would have had to enter the price she wants to pay.

This is pricelines 'get out'.. so, contest the payment and complain.. but many have tried and all but a few have failed.
