I was speaking to a lady and she financed a car she never wanted to finance. She had $8,000 and bought a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero. The dealer made her finance $4,000. What he did was that he put 6k for the deposit and took the other $2k for the purchase of a warranty. She told me Mitsubishi already comes with a warranty with the car? Is the warranty offered by Mitsubishi free or was she fooled? She also wants to return the car because she doesn't want to pay the extra full coverage on her insurance which she didn't take into consideration. The dealer then told her that she doesn't have to really have it and just have the insurance agent send a letter as if it was really covered and then remove it later. Which of course our office wouldn't do that. Could she cancel her contract with the finance with all of this that I just stated or is did she take the bait?

Thanks,
