Please help, The facts are : I am a man who is seperated and getting divorced by her choice. I live in new york state ( i had to move back with my parents) , she lives in rhode island where we had just bought a house. we have a 6 month old son together. my problem is I am not working yet an i have a court date comming up on july 19 and i cant afford the retainer fees of the lawyers. is there a public assist in this matter? are there lawyers in position for people who cant afford it? i would appriciate any kind of advise...thank you.
