What is the name of your state? Missouri
My girlfriends property was listed in the paper as a foreclosure due to the fact the bank put the check in the wrong account. We have a copy of the check along with a copy of the article from the paper. She holds a administrator position at a local nursing home and with this being a small community everyone has seen it. Can we sue? thanks in advance

Yes, in this country you can always sue for any reason at all. The real question is, will you win and is it worth it? I can almost guaruntee that whatever damages are awared (if damages can even be assessed) will probably not cover your court costs. Good luck.
