What do I have to do if I cannot locate a person named in the will? I have sent notifications using certified mail to the last know address. These were returned unopened and unaccepted. I have heard about posting a public notice, but do not know what to say in the ad and how long to run it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A public notice ad should only be used as a last resort, since the person may have moved out of the local area and might not see it.

Send me an e-mail with the person's name and last known address and any other information you might have (name of spouse and/or children) and I can do the search on nationwide credit bureau databases I have access to, if you're interested.
