What is the name of your state? MD

This past Thursday, I was a soldier who works with me were about to go to work, I was in a vey tight parking lot on base, I was unable to get my truck out and was about to leave it there, when the guys says hey I can get it out. Well I agreed to let him try to get us out of the tight spot. well he ended up raming into another parked car. causing damage to both my truck and the other car. DOD police where called. This soldier got a $75.00 dollar ticket because his liscence had exspired. I understand that my insurance has to pay for the other vehicle, but my truck also needs to be fixed. Now this guy is like hey my uncle can fix the damages to your truck for free, I don't think I want that offer. What can I do to get him to pay for any of the damages to these 2 cars. And will my insurance go up, we both have USAA.

Also I havent gotten the police report yet because its not ready yet.

Your insurance is gonna go up if you make a claim thats just a fact of life. Big deal. It happens to the best of us. It will probably happen again in the future.

Learn from the mistake and don't let losers like your friend drive your car.

My uncle can do it for free sounds ghetto at best.

My response:

That was a great opening sentence. Let's see . . . It makes no sense, and is run-on. I guess you missed English class in school.

My response:

No, I didn't, and I still don't understand it. Your sentences make no sense. It's also evident that no one else understands your post - - because no one else has bothered to give you a response.

All because you're "rushed" doesn't mean we have wade through and try to respond to garbage. If you can't take your time to write, and write properly, then wait for a time when you can.

I understood the post just fine. Can he take the guy to small claims court? He has proof this guy did it. But at the same time he did give him permission to operate the car knowing full well how difficult it would be to get it out.

Boy I hope I dotted all my i s and crossed all my t s or is it dotted all my eyes and crossed all my teas. Not to worry i am sure IAAL will correct me.

It does not matter

If he let the guy drive it. The fact of the matter is as soon as the guy got behind the wheel he became responsible for that vehicle. Works just like if you loaned your car to someone and they came back 3 hours later and there was a dent in the car. whoever was behind the wheel at the time is responsible for the accident and is therefore responsible to pay for the damages.
