I am a resident of N.C.. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident that was not my fault. I have an attorney representing me. I want to know if the attorney can contact my creditors about setting up a payment plan after a settlement has been reached.i attempted to do so , but they wanted thier money now.I have been out of work for almost 4 months. I am faced with the possibility of bankruptsy and losing everything I have. Could this possibly happen?

It's possible. You need to ask your attorney. The creditors (doctors?) may or may not agree, but the attorney can try.
