What is the name of your state? Missouri

I bought a 2001 Dodge Diseal Cummins through a dealership and I faxed them my application. The sent the information through to the bank that does their financing. I was approved and I traded in my truck for the Dodge and they gave me a check for $13,000. I paid off all my credit cards with that and then called the bank to refinance so I could get a lower interest rate and lower payment. The car dealership told me to do this, but they told me to go through them to do it. When I called them to refinance, they said I would have to go through the bank because that is what the bank had told them to start doing a few days before. So I called them and gave all my information and I wasn't approved. Come to find out, they thought I made alot more money then what I was telling them. So I asked them to fax me a copy of my 1st application. So they did and it says I make $1800 more than what I actually wrote down and that my additional income is $1400 more than what I actually wrote down. I know this can't be right? What should I do?

And did you show this to the bank that financed the auto through the dealership? What was their reaction?

I haven't showed them because I did the refinancing app over the phone. When she told me I was denied and I asked why she said because my income wasn't high enough. I asked why it was before and now it isn't and she said on the first app it said I grossed $$$$ and the second app is lower. So I asked her to fax me a copy of the first app and she did and the app isn't the one I filled out. It is the same except for the money amounts. I haven't said anymore to the bank about it because I wanted to find out my options first. And now the car dealership is doing everything they can to get me approved.

LOL! :D I hear ya.

I'm going home in about 35 minutes and I don't have Internet connection at home. So it will be Monday before I can reply unless I make it to my Mother-in-laws. Have a great weekend. :)
